This tea is warming, soothing, and has many health benefits, including aiding digestion and boosting the immune system.


Ingredients:

- 1 small piece of ginger (about 1 inch), peeled and thinly sliced

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 2 cups of water

- Honey or lemon (optional, for taste)


Instructions:


1. Boil the Water: Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.


2. Add Ginger and Cinnamon: Once the water is boiling, add the sliced ginger and the cinnamon stick to the water.


3. Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the water.


4. Strain: After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat. Strain the tea into a mug to remove the ginger slices and cinnamon stick.


5. Serve: Enjoy your hot cinnamon ginger tea!


Feel free to adjust the amount of ginger and cinnamon to suit your taste preferences. This tea can also be served chilled over ice for a refreshing summer beverage.
